In line with the brand-new integral development of global economics in the 21st century in Shanghai and to realize the goal of constructing Shanghai into an international shipping center, the marine power system needs an advanced development.
For this reason, the SMSC-2000 marine engine room simulator was successfully developed by Shanghai Maritime University. Its function met the requirements of STCW78/95 convention drafted by IMO (International Maritime Organization) and the requirements of our country demands on marine engineers. Marine power system model is the core of electric power system in marine engine room simulator.
What has been dealt with in this paper is the development process of a LPG powerplant for application to Beijinggreen pleasure boats. Test results have showed that the newly developed powerplant can meet the requirements de-manded by marine power system and safety system and, moreover, its emissions at idling speeds can satisfy relative Chinanational emissions regulations.
This paper presents the methods of Node of Voltage and Node tearing in research of marine power system. These methods raise the speed of simulation. According to the characters of marine power system, this paper designs a algorithm and a program of REAL_TIME simulation . It can satisfy the needs of accuracy and speed of simulation.
