An analysis of the results obtained indicated that for this rice variety, a total number of 27 million spikelets per mu was needed to produce a yield of 550—600 kg of grains(8.25-9 Tons/ha).The yield components should be: 210—240 thousand panicles per mu;more than 120 grains per panicle; about 90% ripened grains and 25—26 grams per 1,000 grains.2. The dynamic state of population development for the rice variety"76-01" to yield 550—600 kg per mu was found to be-early emergence and steady growth of the tillers; steady growth at the elongation stage with light-green and thick erect leaves which should not be senescent early before maturity. Over 210 thousand tillers were expected 20 days after transplanting on the basis of 80—120 thousand seedlings planted per mu. The maximum number of tillers appearing 30 days after transplanting should be controlled at a level of 350—400 thousand per mu. The leaf-area-index (LAI) at the heading stage should be 7.3. The length of the last three leaves counted from top downward should be 25—28 cm,41—45 cm and 45—50 cm respectively.3. Under medium fertility of soil, 16—18 kg of nitrogen, combined with an adequate amount of P_2 O_5 and K_2O were required to produce a promising yield of 550—600 kg per mu. Among them 50—60% should be allocated to basal dressing, 30—40% to the tillering stage and 10% to the stage just before reduction division.4. An analysis of the economic effect of the high-yielding cultivation on an area of over 100 mu showed that in spite of higher production cost, greater output value, lower cost per unit product and higher net income resulted. The net income of the high-yielding fields exceeded that of the general ones by 37.39 yuan per mu.

This method is recently developed to be a new high yield cultivation method for early rice production in Zhejiang province.The main aim of this method is to get a steady increase of grain yield for early rice by producing bigger panicles. According to the results of survey and investigation for 5 years, the yields of rice grain are about 8250 Kg/ha in normal years, more than 7500 Kg/ha in disastrous years, and 7.9-16.5% higher than the method in common use.Reasons for the high yield due to this method is discussed and elucidated, and a concise introduction to the main technigue of "T F S" cultivation method is presented.

早稻稀少平栽培法是在总结全省早稻高产栽培经验的基础上,针对目前生产中普遍存在的问题,根据试验结果和水稻的生育规律提出来的;系采用稀播、少本插和平稳促进的肥水管理技术,以攻大穗作为突破口的一种新的高产栽培技术体系,它的基本出发点,就是在整个生育过程中,使群体到到平稳的发展,个体能够良好的生育。5年的试验和试种证明,运用这种栽培法在高产栽培条件下,有较大的增产潜力,常年亩产1100斤左右,灾年也可超千斤,比一般栽培法增产7.9~16.5%;在普通栽培条件下,也有明显的增产效果,一般可增产8.8~13.7%。本文论证了这种栽培法的增产原因,并对其几个技术环节作了简明的介绍。

Because of its high yield it caneven help to tide over faminein years of crop failure.Through biological, phenological, geographical and distributionalanalyses of drought resistance and tolerance of broomcorn millet, it canbe seen that this crop has a good yield potentialin south Ningxia. Inthe last part of the paper the author has put forth some suggestions toenhance the yield of this important crop.1. Strengthen scientific research, paying attention especially to high-yield cultivation;2. On the basis of a general survey of the varieties, collet and col-late the germplasm resources of broomcorn millet in this region;3. The units responsible for seed supply should undertake to mul-tiply the seeds of broomcorn millet and ensure in particular a suffi-cient supply of seeds of those varieties that need a shorter period ofgrowth and can help to tide oves famine;4. Make a great effort to extend the high-yield experience in broom-corn millet production of the Yaergou Production Brigade, GuyuanCounty;5. Using a small amount of urea as seed manure may bring about aconspicuous increase in yield. This method can be widely applied to pro-duction.

本文指出,糜子是宁夏南部山区的主要作物之一,在粮食生产中占有重要地位,在个别年份甚至起着稳产救灾的作用。对糜子比较耐旱的特性进行了生物学方面分析,物候学方面的分析及地理分布方面的分析,说明糜子在宁南山区仍有较大的增产潜力。最后对提高糜子生产提出如下几点建议: 1、加强对糜子的科研工作,特别要注意高产栽培的研究; 2、在品种普查基础上,对宁南山区的糜子品种资源进行一次收集整理工作; 3、种子部门应繁殖经营糜子品种,特别要留足小日月救灾品种; 4、大力推广固原县鸦儿沟生产队糜子高产经验; 5、用少量尿素作种肥,增产显著,可普遍采用。
