Antennas in aircrafts give large contributions to the radar cross section (RCS) of target at particular aspects, which include both the common structural and antenna-mode components, the latter is a special character of loaded scatierers due to the re-radiation. In this investigation, the scattering mechanism and analytical computation methods for the two RCS components of antennas are discussed, and some technical ways as well as their effects for antenna RCS reduction are proposed.

From the measured transient electromagnetic pulse responses, the impulse responses of the conducting sphere and the conducting prolate spheroid are better inverted using Modified Steepest Descent Method.Transient Response Method for measuring the wideband radar cross-section(RCS)of targets in time domain is presented. Using this method,the RCS and the resonance frequencies of the conducting sphere and the conducting prolate spheroid are obtained.

Using this new kind electric-controlled target simulator can sharply simplify the test of some features of low-sidelobe fire-controlled radar,save large amount of energy,as well as operate conveniently.

提出了一种新颖的电控目标模拟器,计算机仿真和实验表明,与机械目标模拟器相比具有三个优点:(1)定位可以非常准确,(2)目标等效散射截面大小可以控制,(3)可作任意方式的变速运动,且无机械运动的噪音。使用这种电控目标模拟器,能够大大简化低副瓣火控雷达有关指标测试,节省大量能源,操作方便。
