This paper analyses the reception performance of 2PSK signals under non-ideal conditions. The theoretical model discussed in reference [1] is referred to as the ideal condition, and the non-idea) factors are those which generally increase the bit error rate. In some cases, however, such as the clipping of the video waveform, the bit error rate under certain conditions can be lower than under ideal conditions.This paper first simplifies the theoretical model in reference [1] into practical block diagrams...

This paper analyses the reception performance of 2PSK signals under non-ideal conditions. The theoretical model discussed in reference [1] is referred to as the ideal condition, and the non-idea) factors are those which generally increase the bit error rate. In some cases, however, such as the clipping of the video waveform, the bit error rate under certain conditions can be lower than under ideal conditions.This paper first simplifies the theoretical model in reference [1] into practical block diagrams and then, corresponding to the block diagrams, gives two specific circuits which have been proven to be satisfactory. Following this is the key parts of the paper which discussed the following five non-ideal factors: (1) the effect of non-ideal integration; (2) the effect of the clipping of the video waveform; (3) the effect of the phase error of the bit syncronization signal; (4) the effect of the finite bandwidth before the integration-dumping circuit; and (5) the effect of the dumping time of the integration-dumping circuit.As the effect of the phase error of the reference signal of the sync detector has been covered in reference [3], it is omitted in this paper.

This Paper discusses the random error, the burst error, and the bit error rate of the telecontrol system and its operation demand by the electric power system. The false synchronization probability , loss of synchronization probability of frame delimitation which is used in a microprocessor telecontrol system and its transfer efficiency are analysed. The frame delimitation suggested by IEC TC-57 Com mittee is also analysed and an improved method is suggested.
