We made an primary investigation on the plasma copolymerization ofhexafluoropropene, ethylene and styrene. Through measurement of IR and GC-MS weconcluded that although electron energy of the plasma system was high enough to breakcommon chemical bond, the plasma copolymerization just as usual radical copolymeriza-tion must follow that the activity of copolymerized monomers need approach each other,or else the high active monomer would polymerize to anticipate copolymerization.

本文选用六氟丙烯(HFP)、乙烯(Et)和苯乙烯(St)为单体初步探讨了等离子体共聚合反应。通过IR和GC-MS分析发现,虽然等离子体系中的高能粒子足以使一般的化学键断裂,但等离子体条件下的共聚合反应在规律上也像一般的共聚合一样,共聚单体的活性必须相近,否则,高活性单体优先聚合。

The plasma polymerization of mixtures of hexamethyldisiloxane(HMDSO) and tetrafluoromethane (TFM) was carried out in the bell jar type withinternal electrode. The structure of polymerized films was characterized with IR, XPS,X-ray. HMDSO/TFM were plasma-copolymerized to yield films containing both siliconand fluorine residues. The elemental composition of the formed polymer films dependedon the composition of the starting mixture. The Si/C atomic. ratio decreased with inc-reasing TFM concentration, whereas the...

The Si/C atomic. ratio decreased with inc-reasing TFM concentration, whereas the F/C ratio increased. The gas permeability ofthese composite membrane was measured. The plasma copolymerization methods areavailable for the preparation of the membranes for gas separation. In addition, theproperties of the plasma polymerized films were studied by contact angle measurementsand surface energy count.
