This is a brief review on the theories, exprimental determination methods and effect factors of compatibility of polymer blends. Thermodynamic Criterion, Scott Theory and recently developed Equation-of-State Theories are involved. The experimental methods contain Optical and Electron Microscopy, Light Scattering, X-ray Scattering, Neutron Scattering, Measurements of Glass Transition Temperature, Melting Point Depression, Heat of Mixing Measurements, Inverse Gas Chromatography , Infra-Red Spectroscopy, Excimer Fluorescence, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance etc. Finally, the effects of interco-mponent interactions, molecular weights, ambient temperature and Pressure, and comp-atibilizers on polymer-polymer compatibility are discussed.

The polymer-polymer interaction parmeter(X) of dlifferential Sources moecular weights PC/PET blends is calculated and found to varying from 0.0448 to 0.0602. The flory-Huggins interction paramenter is a unique parameter directly related to the interaction between component polymers.

PC/PET共混体系具有重大实用意义,而PC和PET之间的相容性对分散体系的分子状态、两相混合的形态,两相界面间的粘附力都有重要影响,因此最终也影响共混体系的使用性能和应用范围。相容性与两种高聚物共混体的热力学性质有关,目前做定量表征方法都与共混体系的热力学性质有关。两种高聚物的同态混合物热力学性质是否可用Flory-Huggins晶格模型理论来描述,已被中子散射研究证明。用热力学方法定量表征相容性的一个先决条件是共混体系必须达到热力学平衡。本文用溶液共混的方法满足了这项要求,本文用差热分析测定国内不同厂家、不同分子量的PC与同-PET产品共混物(重量比为1:1)中PC和PET的Tg(玻璃化转变温度),通过计算求出Flory-Huggins相互作用参数,用来评价PC与PET的相容性。对研究PC与PET相容性与性能的关系,准确选择PC样品制备希望性能的共混物提供科学依据。

The Induction-Filming Polymerization is a novel method for making polymer/polymer composite membranes. Here a polymer solution which act as a induction-Filming agent will induce the monomers filming, and a polymer/polymer layered composite mambrane with a IPN interface is prepared after the monomers have been polymeriaed.

本文简要介绍了一种新颖的聚合物/聚合物复合薄膜的制备方法——诱导成膜聚合法。即用一种高分子溶液作某一能溶于该溶液的单体的诱导成膜剂,诱导单体成膜。经聚合后,便得到具有IPN界面的聚合物/聚合物层状复合薄膜。
