In late years, the experimental research work on manufacturing the reduced iron powder with a raw material of high purity iron-concentrate has been carried out by the powder metallurgical research department of Central Iron and Steel Research Institute (CISRI), in association with the great help of Benxi Iron and Steel Company and Wuhan Iron and Steel Company, and good results have been obtained. A high-purity iron-concentrate containing 0.43% SiO2 being used as a starting material, under the condition of domestic existing apparatus and laboratory, the results of chemical analysis of the reduced iron powder for P/M are (%): FeTot-99.33%, Si-0.05%, Mn-0.05%, S-0.005%, P-0.007%,C-0.004%, HCl insoluble-0.28%, H2 loss-0.14%. Its bulk density is 2.62g/cm3, flow rate is 31.5 sec/ 50g, compressibility (under 5t/cm2) is up to 6.86 g/cm3. All properties have met the needs of the national standard of China for iron powder, approaching to the level of advanced Sweden iron powder grade SC100.26 well know in the world. The tests in use show that this kind of iron powder has good compressibility and formability, and is suitable for manufacturing parts with high density and complicated form.

近几年来,我院粉末冶金研究室在本溪钢铁公司、武汉钢铁公司等单位的大力协作下,开展了以高纯铁精矿粉为原料制取还原铁粉的试验研究工作,取得了良好的试验结果。用SiO_2含量为0.43%的高纯铁精矿粉为原料,在国内现有生产设备及实验室条件下,用还原法制取的粉末冶金用铁粉的化学分析结果(%)为:总Fe 99.33,Si 0.05,Mn 0.05,S 0.005,P 0.007,C 0.004,盐酸不溶物0.28,氢损值0.14。其松装密度为2.62g/Cm~3,流动性为31.5s/50g,在单位压力为5t/cm~2时压缩性达6.86g/cm~3。全部性能达到国标要求,接近国外先进的瑞典铁粉SC_(100.26)水平。应用试验表明,所制得的铁粉具有良好的压缩性和成型性,适合于制作高密度和形状复杂的零件。

In this paper a new-tupe cyclone-bag grading system is invented.It is also discussed that the system is applied in super fine powder grading.Experiment results show that the grading particle diameter is 5μm,and the total grading diameter is 6-8. 7μm.

对使用连续螺旋旋风—袋式组合分级系统做为超细粉分级设备进行了探讨,结果表明:该分级系统分级粒径为5μm,全分离直径为6~8.7μm。
