A microcomputer-based control system with a new control strategy to optimize diesel fuel injection and valve timings for better fuel economy is proposed. The proposed control system has been developed and tested on a four-stroke diesel engine. A discussion is presented of a new hydraulic valve mechanism with variable valve timing designed by the authors. The mechanism is simple in structure and suitable for real-time control of valve timing.

In this paper, a multivariable adaptive long-range predictive controller based on CARMA model is developed. It seems better than Refs.[4] and [8] in that it is suitable for systems that are unstable and / or in non-minimun phase. It seems better than Refs. [8] [9] [10] in that it requries less prior knowlege of the interactor matrix of the system. It seems better than Ref. [3] in that it requires less amount of computations. Using the state space approach, the authors succeed in analyzing the robust stability...

[8] [9] [10] in that it requries less prior knowlege of the interactor matrix of the system. It seems better than Ref. [3] in that it requires less amount of computations. Using the state space approach, the authors succeed in analyzing the robust stability of long-range predictive control systems, including the proposed control system. It is believed that the authors are the first to succcced in such an analysis. In developing the above proposed controller, the authors take two effective measures. First,thc authors use long-range predictor and multi-stage cost-function minimization schemes instead of single-step predictor and single-stage cost-function minimization schemes used by Borison [8] and Koivo [9], Secondly the authors introduce a control horizon. Simulation results appear to confirm that the proposed adaptive controller is better than previous ones.

求文提出一种给定值加权智能化PID控制算法。在PID控制比例项中引入给定值加权因子β,该加权因子可据描述其与系统状态之间关系的启发式规则在线整定,并可实现智能化规则的自学习、自调整。仿真实验表明,系统输出响应及性能指标,在对象特性改变、给定值改变及有干扰的情况下均明显优于PID控制系统。
