This paper makes an analysis of the thermal stress and mechanical stress of the cylinder head of 9ESDZ 43/82 B-type diesel by applying the finite element method. It has been made clear that the cause of cracking occurred in the upper part of the walls of the cooling water chamber on the cylinder head is due to mechanical loads, especially the loads caused by the screws on the cylinder head.

本文用有限元法分析了9ESDZ43/82B型柴油机气缸盖的热应力和机械应力.指出气缸盖冷却水腔上部壁处产生裂纹的原因是机械载荷,其中特别是气缸盖螺钉引起的载荷尤为重要.

This paper describes the analysis of the cylinder head cracks on 16240Z type diesel engines and discusses the originated cause of these cracks created at different locations. Through the tests and the calculations by two-dimensional and three-dimensional finite element methods on the cylinder heads with diffe rent structures and dimensions, the stresses and deformations under various mechanical and heat conditions have been carefully analyzed and compared.

Through temperature measurement it is found that max. thermal load is in the bridge zone between valve seats of the cylinder head. On this basis, the traditional viewpoint of analysing the heat transfer of water cooling surfaces by singlephase convection method may be discarded, while the mechanism of boiling heat transfer for analysing the cooling effect of the cylinder head in a diesel engine is recommended emphatically in this paper. The cause of thermal crack of the "bridge" is found to be scale...

本文通过测量气缸盖温度,找出气缸盖与气门间的“鼻梁”区域的最大热负荷处。在此基础上,进行了传热分析。改变了以往仅用单相对流换热来分析水冷面换热的观点,着重用沸腾换热的机理分析柴油机气缸盖冷却。找出了“鼻梁”处热裂的原因之一是由于水垢及水流不畅,并从实际发动机中得到证实。
