The long wavelength optical phonon frequencies of mixed crystals AB_(1-x)C_x can becalculated,using Born-Huang equations to describe the random element isodisplace-ment model (REI model).The concentration dependence of the nearest neighbour forceconstants F_(AB)(X) and F_(AC)(x) between A-and B-ions and A-and C-ions is evaluatedby assuming an inverse power repulsive potential between the nearest neighbour ions.The remaining parameters of the model are completely defined by the macroscopic para-meters of the pure end members.The concentration dependence of the long wave-length TO and LO modes of several mixed crystal systems has been calculated withoutusing any adjustable parameters and compared with experimental results.Apparent-ly because we have taken account of the Lorentz-Lorenz field,the difficulty about theunreasonably large second-neighbour interaction in usual REI treatments,as observedby many authors,is at least partially overcome in the present work.

A calculation method for long wavelength optical fiber communication receiver with SAGM-APD detector is presented in the paper. At first, the difference of calculation methods for the gain fac-tor(M0) and the excess noise factor F(M0) from traditional APDS which are made up of Si or Ce is studied. Then the influence of the trap of holes at the heterojunction interface and the avalanche buildup time on bandwidth of SAGM-APD is described. Lastly, the relationships between receiver sensitivities in a high rate region and bit rates and between optimum gain factor and bit rates are deduced.

本文主要叙述以SAGM-APD为检测器的数字光纤通信接收机灵敏的计算方法,导出了以SAGM-APD为检测器的数字光纤通信接收机在高速区(>10~8b/s)的灵敏度与码速的关系和最佳倍增系数与码速的关系。
