The development of the disease seemed to be dependent on temperature, relative humidity and rainfall during the growing season of the grapevine. The canes suffering from frost or low temperature injury in early winter were more predisposed to infection and hence showed a high incidence of the disease. 葡萄根癌病在我国北方地区发生分布广泛,部份葡萄园发病严重,感病品种病株率高达100%。葡萄的根、根颈、枝蔓均能发病,以根颈部冠瘿瘤最多。在受冷伤害严重的葡萄园,枝蔓上发病也重,且成为植株死亡的主要原因。在内蒙古包头市一带,5月下旬发病,6月中旬至8月为发病盛期,9月下旬停止发病。温度、湿度及降水与病害关系密切,葡萄受霜冻和冬季低温的影响,增加了病菌新的侵染点,加快病害的发生发展。葡萄品种抗病性差异显著,玫瑰香、巨峰等高度感病,罗也尔玫瑰、康拜尔、贝达等抗病性强。室内药效测定和田间防治试验,抗菌剂401、402,福美砷和石硫合剂渣子等抑菌力强,并有较好的防治效果。

Laboratory studies showed that three common fungicides, Bayleton, Cercobin-M and Derosal had adverse effects on Phytqseiulus persimilis, a predator of red spider mites. Bayleton showed a repellent effect on the predator. The percent settlement of P. persimilis was 21.7% on the fungicide treated plants of snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), comparing to 53.3% on the untreated one. When P. persimilis was placed onto a treated leaf with the other leaf untreated on the same plant, 80.8% of the predator escaped...

Bayleton showed a repellent effect on the predator. The percent settlement of P. persimilis was 21.7% on the fungicide treated plants of snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), comparing to 53.3% on the untreated one. When P. persimilis was placed onto a treated leaf with the other leaf untreated on the same plant, 80.8% of the predator escaped to the untreated leaf, only 19.2% remained on the treated. On the plants with both leaves untreated, 80% of the predators stayed. Cercobin-M and Derosal were found to be inhibitory to egg-laying of P. persimilis. After preying upon the spider raitss or even " the eggs laid by the mites fed on the treated plants, the predator suffered non-recoverablly reduced longevity and reproductivity. The inhibitory effect by Derosal remained active 7 days after the treatment. No harmful effect to P. persimilis was found by a bio-fungicide Agricultural Antibiotic 120.

In laboratory tests and field experiment it was observed that some common fungicides such as Dafolatan and Thiophanate etc. were fungistatic to the causal fungus and gave better control of the disease, It has been demonstrated that the integrated control system of stem blight of asparagus including the adequated fertilization and sanitation played an role in reducing the infection and disease development.

茎枯病是上海地区石刁柏生产上发生最为普遍,并造成毁灭性危害的真菌病害之一。该病害在田间自4月上旬可见,多发生于6~7月以后。室内药效测定和田间防治试验表明,大富丹、托布津等杀菌剂抑菌力强,并有较好的防治效果。经试验示范,以严格选地、合理施肥、清除病株和药剂保护等为中心的石刁柏茎枯病防治措施,在生产中已初见成效。
