This paper presents an accurate method of determining n and K values of drilling fluids in anaulus. The influence of polymer additives and the content of bentonite and salinity on n and K has been studied. In Zhongyuan Oil Field a trial of adjusting n and K values was conducted. The relationship between the two values and the cuttings-carrying capacity was found.

There exists the“pseudo-gel”phenomenon during the preparation process of carboxyl-terminated polybutadiene by anionic polymerization,This article mainlydiscusses the influence of polymer concentration,molecular weight and livingpolymer chain end structure on the “pseudo-gel”formation.Applying “capping”technique to weaken the activity of carbanion for reducing the side reactionduring the carboxylation is proposed.
