Unsaturated soil is a three-phase media and is composed of soil grain, water and gas. In this paper, the consolidation problem of unsaturated soil is investigated based on the theory of mixture. A theoretical formula of effective stress on anisotropic porous media and unsaturated soil is derived. The principle of effective stress and the principle of Curie symmetry are taken as two fundamental constitutive principles of unsaturated soil. Unsaturated soil is a three-phase media and is composed of soil grain, water and gas. In this paper, the consolidation problem of unsaturated soil is investigated based on the theory of mixture. A theoretical formula of effective stress on anisotropic porous media and unsaturated soil is derived. The principle of effective stress and the principle of Curie symmetry are taken as two fundamental constitutive principles of unsaturated soil. A mathematical model of consolidation of unsaturated soil is proposed,which consists of 25 partial differential equations with 25 unknowns. With the help of increament linearizing method, the model is reduced to 5 governing equations with 5 unknowns, i. e., the three displacament components of solid phase, the pore watsr pressure and the pors gas pressure, 7 material parameters are involved in tha modjl and all of them can be measured using soil tests. It is convenient to use the model to engineering practice. The well known Biot's theory is a. special case of the model.

非饱和土是由土粒、水、气组成的三相介质,本文以混合物理论为基础研究了非饱和土的固结问题.文中导出了各向异性多孔介质及非饱和土的有效应力的理论公式,把有效应力原理和Curie对称原理作为非饱和土的两个重要的本构原理,建立了非饱和土固结的数学模型:由25个方程求解25个未知量.在增量线性化的情况下,本模型简化为5个控制方程求解5个未知量:3个固相位移、孔隙水压力和孔隙气压力.模型中包含7个材料参数,都可由试验测定,便于工程应用.Biot理论是本模型的特例.

A theoretical formula of ettective stress for anisotropic porous media and unsaturated soil isderived on the base of elasticity theory, and the effective stress parameter is measured with convention-al triaxial apparatus. Some misunderstandings on the concept of effective stress are clanfied.

Natural convection heat transfer inside horizontal rectangular enclosure filled with the anisotropic porous media, with isothermally heated bottom and cooled top while the vertical walls are adiabatic, is analyzed numerically by applying the Brinkman model-a modified form of Darcy model giving consideration to the viscous effect. The results show that: (1)the permeability ratio (K*=Ky/Kx) is an important factor affecting natural convection heat transfer in the porous media. As K' decreases, the circulation intensity of the natural convectioncells increase significantly, resulting in an enhancement of heat transfer coefficient; (2)the increase of Darcy number (aa=Ky/H2) implies that the viscous effect is more significant. As Da≥10-, there exists a certain difference between the Darcy model and the Brinkman model. It is more significant at a lower permeability ratio. In particalar, with K*≤0. 25, the Nusselt number for Da=10-3 would differ form that of Darcy model up to an amount of 30K. The Darcy flow as depicted by Darcy model is no longer existing and an analysis neglecting the viscous effect will inevitably be of considerable error.

采用Darcy模型的改进型式—Brinkman模型数值研究了底部恒温加热、顶部恒温冷却、竖壁绝热的水平矩形空腔内的各向异性多孔介质中的自然对流传热。结果表明,(1)渗透率比(K*=Ky/Kx)是影响多孔介质内部自然地流传热的一个重要因素。随K*下降,自然对流对流腔的环流强度明显提高,换热系数也显著得以强化,(2)De数(Da=Ky/H2)的增加表征了粘性效应的加剧。当Da≥10-时,Darcy模型与Brinkman模型的计算结果存在一定的偏差,这一偏差在较小的渗透率比时更为明显。特别地,当K*≤0.25时,Da=10-3的Nu数与达西模型的相对误差将达到30%以上,此时Darcy模型所描述的达西流概念已不再成立,如果不考虑粘性效应的影响,则会给理论分析结果造成很大的误差.
