Strata-bound deposit is an end product of the mutual actions among sedimentation, magmatic activity and structure movement. Thus, a certain strata-bound deposit and its ore-bearing formation will be formed in a certain stage environment of tectonic structures. Evaporite formation altogether with its underlying molasse formation forms a complete metallogenic system for strata-bound deposits. A definite temporal ( geological ages ) and spatial (tectonic environments) evolution of the variant evaporite formations and related strata-bound copper, lead and zinc deposits were shown. Finding out the evolutional tendency in China will promote the guidance for the ore-searching.

近年国外铜矿床勘查与研究工作,在成矿理论和勘查方面取得了新的进展.本文介绍了智利埃斯康迪达斑岩铜矿床和圣烛节层控铜矿床,印度马兰杰坎德铜矿床,菲律宾勤班陀富金铜矿床,印尼埃茨伯格矽卡岩铜矿床和格拉斯伯格斑岩金铜矿床,加拿大米利根山和卢维库特铜矿床的勘查工作进展;同时介绍了铜矿床成矿理论和找矿研究工作的新进展,斑岩铜矿床成矿与陆内活化带构造环境有关,成矿作用具多期多阶段特征;层控铜矿床成矿与大陆裂谷环境有关,不同类型矿床与裂谷演变的不同阶段有关,以及层控铜矿床分类的特点.最后,为解决我国铜矿资源,结合我国铜矿床勘查利用情况,提出改进提取技术,开发利用低品位铜矿石的认识和建议.
