Based on the theoretical analysis of vibration of spring coils, this paper shows the propagation of dynamic stress along the spring by the graphical method and verifies that the maximum stress is often greater than the static stress occurring when the contiguous coils are in contact. It is believed that in the design of the drive spring, it is necessary not only to use the usual static calculations but also to analyse the dynamic stress so as to obtain rational dimensions.

The cylinder head of this rig is made of organic glass, through which the combustion phenomenon can be watched in whole size. On this rig there are a speciel inlet, outlet, injection and control system. In the experiment the moving and thermal condition in the cylinder is the same as in a real engine, so that the testing results will exactly reflect the combustion phenomenon in the real diesel engine.

The method of developing a single shot burning device with rapid compression and expansion on the basis of a single shot burning device with only rapid compression operated pneumatically is described in this paper. It is shown that a rapid expansion can be realized by means of a magnet control valve and. therefore, more detailed information can be obtained from this new device. The experimental results indicate that in using this new device, the fuel oil quantity injected cannot be ascertained by the position of the fuel pump rack as the fuel oil quantity injected in one shot is different from that calibrated on the rack. It is known that combustion temperature has significant effect on the formation of nitric oxide. To study the formation of nitric oxide, if the fuel oil quantity injected is determined by the ratio of the trapped air mass to the stoichiometric air mass which is obtained in the gas analysis, the experiments can be reproduced accurately.

本文主要叙述将文献[1]介绍的气动式快速压缩一次喷射燃烧装置改造成快速压缩膨胀一次喷射燃烧装置时所采取的措施。实践证明,用电磁阀放气来实现气动式燃烧装置的膨胀行程是可行的。从压缩膨胀一次喷射燃烧装置上可以获得更完整的信息。快速压缩膨胀一次喷射燃烧装置的特性试验表明,由于燃油系统一次喷射时的状态与油量校正时不同,所以在研究燃烧时,不能用喷油泵齿条位置来标志供油量。在研究受燃烧温度影响很大的排气中NO生成量时,用排气分析法来确定过量空气系数α,再由它来标志供油量,可使试验结果获得较好的再现性。
