The RNA extracted from the spleens of sarcoma-180 bearing mice of 0,7,14,21 and 28 days after inoculation with the tumor cells and together with the S-180 cells were subcutaneously injected into the corresponding groups of experimental mice. The antitumor effects of RNA in vivo were compared among these groups of the mice. It was found that the antitumot effects of RNA of the 7-21 days groups were of significance and that of RNA of the 14 days group was the strongest. The RNA Synthesis was studied by incorporation of ~3H-UR in vitro using spleen cells from the sarcoma-180 bearing mice. The result shows that the rate of RNA synthesis in spleen cells from Sarcoma-bearing mice was accelerated on the 4 th day and tripled on the 14 th day, and suggeststhat the antitumor effect of such RNA depends on the rate and amount of its synthesis in spleen cells. The faster is the rate and the larger the amount of RNA synthesized in spleen cells, the stronger is its antiumor effect.

Drug concentrations in different tissues at this time were in order of liver>tumor>lung>skin> kidney>spleen(?)heart(?)muscle.The pharmacokinetics of PsD-044 in mice was fitted by an open three compartment model. The pharmacokinetic parameters calculated were shown to be essentially consistent with the determination of tissue distribution. It was also shown that PsD-044 can't pass through blood-brain barrier.

This paper reported a method of immunotherapy for treating tumors in vivo.Interleukin 2 (IL-2) and/or tumor necrosis factor(TNF) entrapped by Freund's complete adjuvant(FCA) was administered to S180 sarcoma bearing mice. The result showed that this method. improved the antitumor capacity and lowered significantly the adverse effects.

本文报道一种新的免疫治疗方法。用福氏完全佐剂(Freund's complete adjuvent,FCA)包裹白细胞介素2(lnterleukin 2,IL-2)及/或肿瘤坏死因子(Tumor Necrosis Factor,TNF)作了抗S18O肉瘤的体内抗瘤实验。结果表明:IL-2及/或TNF经佐剂包裹后,可明显减轻其毒副作用,并显著提高IL-2及/或TNF的抗瘤作用。
