179 Oula sheep were used to investigate the isozymogram of serum amylase(AMY) by means of polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in vertical plate and to compare the 15 blood indexes of the Oula sheep with different AMY2 phenotypes.
The genetic variation of eight isozymic systems (Lactate dehydrogenase (Ldh), Malate dehydrogenase(Mdh), Isocitric dehydrogenase(Idh), Glycero-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3pdh), Malatase (Me), Esterase (Est), Alcohol dehydrogenase (Adh), Glutamate dehydrogenase(Gdh)) encoded approximately by 25 presumptive loci in 46 samples of huaihe carp (Cyprinus carpio var. huaihenensis) were detected through discontinuous vertical plate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE).
The peroxidase isozymes in young and mature leaves ( 382 samples) from 40 mulberry varieties belonging to 3 species were tested with polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis on vertical plate in summer and autumn respectively.
