H_2(the vertical distance between'the top handgrip and the vaulters center of gravity at release) and H_3 (the vertical lift of the center of gravity af terrelease) are the two component parts of the push-off height (the vertical distance between the vaulter's top handgrip and the height cleared) in the pole-vault. Using the cinematographic method, this paper analyses the action of 12 top vaulters of China during the phase of force exertion (form body extension to pole release), and discusses some main factors...

H_2(the vertical distance between'the top handgrip and the vaulters center of gravity at release) and H_3 (the vertical lift of the center of gravity af terrelease) are the two component parts of the push-off height (the vertical distance between the vaulter's top handgrip and the height cleared) in the pole-vault. Using the cinematographic method, this paper analyses the action of 12 top vaulters of China during the phase of force exertion (form body extension to pole release), and discusses some main factors that affect the values of H_2 and H_3. It was found that there was a depression in the vertical velocity curve of the top handgrip during pole extension and that all vaulters showed an obvious tendency to stretch their bodies forward in the middle and later stages of the pull-up and push-off. This showed that the top vaulters of China had some defects in utilizing the elasticity of the pole and in exercising control over their bodies.

H_2(推离撑竿瞬间上手握点与身体重心之间的高度)和H_3(推离撑竿后身体重心升起的高度)是撑竿跳高腾越高度的两个构成分量。本文主要采用摄影测量的方法,对我国12名优秀运动员在撑竿跳高力量作用时期技术动作的完成情况进行了分析,提出了影响H_2和H_3的一些技术要素。并发现在撑竿反弹过程上手握点垂直速度的变化曲线中普遍存在一凹陷现象;在拉引推竿阶段中后期运动员身体普遍明显前伸,进而揭示出我国优秀运动员在利用撑竿的弹性和控制身体的能力等方面所存在的缺陷。
