It is found that there exists interdiffusion on the interface between NbTi and Cu. The diffusion speeds of the elements increase in Nb. Ti. Cu order and are enhanced with rising temperatures. The diffusion products are Nb-Ti-Cu complex compounds which are much harder than matrixes. This paper presents that the hard-brittle particles which adhere to the interface and the contamination of oxygen-free copper are the important factors which bring about the decrease of mechanical performance transport current capacity and stability of superconducting composite wires. The interface diffusion must be so rigidly controlled that MF-NbTi superconducting composite wires with filament diameter less than 10 μm can be produced.

It is clear that comparing with tne content of the earth' s crust, the chemical elements of Quaternary sediments in the e-astern part of the Hebei plain have no great difference. This paper describes the collecting apparatus and the determinating methodof the fission gases in the irradiated UO_2 fuel elements.Various errores fromthe experiments are analysed.After measuring three groups different burnup fuelrods,we obtain the result that the quantity of the fission gases(Kr,Xe)releasedfrom UO_2 fuel elements increases with burnup.
