From the formulae, the influence of the electron-phonon interaction on the ref active index is studied. The formulae of refractive index and its temperature coefficient are obtained by using semiclassical method, where the perturbation calcu-lation based on the Hamiltonian is up to third order. From the formulae, the influence of the electron-phonon interaction on the ref active index is studied. It is the first time to point out that the temperature coefficient of refractive index introduced by the electron-phonon interaction (excluded the thermal expansion) is a constant at high temperture and is proportional to T3 at low temperature. The contributions of the olectron-phonon interaction and the thermal expansion to the temperature coefficient of refractive index are positive and negative, respectively. A material with large thermal expansion usually shows a negative temperture coefficient, such as NaCl, while a material with small thermal expansion usually shows positive one, such as ZnSe. The zero dispersion wavelength increases with a temperature rise for materials whose thermal expansion can be neglected, such as fused quartz.

Albite-actinolite schist occurring in eugeosyncline zones belongs to an epithermal greenschist facies,and its chemical composition is very stable.Thus it is suitable to be a silicate cotton material.The albite and actinolite in ore composition are characterized by quick mergence, economy,minor stickiness of its lava and good fluidity.Combining with a little dolomite,it can be melted at 1350℃.A high-quality short fibre of silicate cotton,with an acidity coefficient of 2.0,can be produced from the schist through a centrifugal machine using four rollers to make it into fibre.Its physical-chemical properties are superior to basaltic cotton,especially characterized by its lower thermal conductivity under high temperature conditions,small thermal contraction coefficient and strong ability of weather-resistances.Therefore it can be used as a thermal insulation material especially in 300℃—600℃ conditions. As a non-traditionally nonmetallic material,the albite-actinolite schist can also be used as the burdening material of casting mold,protective slag of welding electrod and products of quick-sintering pottery.

陕西下元古界宽坪群中的钠长阳起片岩属低温绿片岩相变质岩,其化学成分极为稳定,适宜作岩棉原料。利用其矿物组分钠长石、阳起石具有的速融、节能以及融浆粘度小、流动性好的特点,配以少量白云岩,在1350℃温度下融熔,通过四辊离心机成纤,可以生产酸度系数达2.0的优质岩棉短纤维。其理化性能优于玄武岩岩棉,在高温条件下其导热系数低、厚度热收缩率小、耐风化能力强,特别适宜在300—600℃条件下作保温隔热材料使用。
