It is a very active research field to monitor production process and achieve quality control by using machine vision methods in current world. The research outlined in this paper presents an approach for solution of the problem mentioned above....

When vision system is used for geometric measurement, a problem has to be solved because the hardware resolution limitation of vision system, that is, the high measuring precision means small measuring range or large measuring range means low measuring precision. The research outlined in this paper presents an approach for solution of the problem mentioned above. A XY table drived by step motors is combined with an image pocessing system, which results in multi-coordinate system construction. The measuring parameters are transmited between the two coordinate systems, and the 0.02mm measurement accuracy is achieved in X and Y directions in the range with 100mm×100mm.

Therefore,based on the require- ment of tank volume.for temperature measurement, the paper introduces the structure of mean temperature sensor of copper thermoresister,and gives the way to improve precision according to theoretical analysis. The performances of tensile and compression strains are studied by experiments. By comparing the results from inspection with that from tests and user application. It is proved feasible to constitute mean temperature by elongating industrial copper thermoresister. The systematic precision achieved is better than ±0. 25 ℃ .which is of the international level.
