Then, an introduction is given to the current situation of the application of the computer image processing technology and visualization technology to the field of water conservancy. By combination of the simulation technology, computer image processing technology, and visualization technology, a numerical laboratory is developed for simulation of the hydraulic characteristics...

Expounded are the composition and structure of the numerical laboratory, which further extends the connotation of numerical simulation. Then, an introduction is given to the current situation of the application of the computer image processing technology and visualization technology to the field of water conservancy. By combination of the simulation technology, computer image processing technology, and visualization technology, a numerical laboratory is developed for simulation of the hydraulic characteristics of the permanent ship lock water conveyance system in the Three Gorges Project. By use of the laboratory, numerical simulation can be made for the water conveyance system for any operational conditions, and the simulated results can be shown with figures, images, forms, and animated drawing. With the characteristics of fast operation, intuitive expression, and friendly interfaces, the laboratory can be widely used for engineering design and construction.

After Hongjiadu Hydropower Station,the first reservoir of the Wujiang River cascade stations with long-period storage,was put into operation,the operation model of serious lock water in downstream reservoirs and storing water but stopping generation in the first reservoir appeared in operation process during 2005∽2006.An important job faced is how to bring the first reservoir into play its regulating role.Analyzing on reservoir operation process during two years of 2005 and 2006,the writer expounded the regulating and compensating role of Hongjiadu Reservoir to downstream stations in different periods,presented a dialectical review point between storage and regulation.

乌江具有多年调节性能龙头水库的洪家渡水电站建成投运后,在2005~2006年其水库运行过程中出现了“下游水库严重缺水,龙头水库停机蓄水”的不利运行方式,因此如何发挥龙头水库的调节作用成了贵州乌江水电开发有限责任公司和贵州电网调度部门面临的一项重要课题。本文通过2005年、2006年2年的水库运行过程分析,阐述了洪家渡水库不同时段对下游水电站的补偿调节作用,提出了龙头水库拦蓄和补偿调节的辨证的观点,即充分发挥补偿调节作用提高下游各水库运行水位,从而保证梯级水库经济运行,提高水能利用率。
