In comparison with cowper stoves, not only investment and construction time are lessened, but thermal efficiency is improved to above 76%. The blast temperature is 140℃ higher and the stack temperature is 195℃ lower than that of cowper stoves. The operation of the pebble stoves for the 185m~3 blast furnace shows that they are also suitable for blast furnaces of 300m~3 level....
