AIM: To study the changes and significance of theblood--brain barrier (araB ) permeability in rats with infrasound damage so as to prol)e into the mechanism of Infrasounic biological effects. METHODS: Forty SD rats were randomizied into four groups: control group, one--time infrasound damage group, 7--time Infrasound damage group and 14 time infrasound damage group. Infrasound groups were exposed to & Hi, 120 dB infrasound as designed, each time for 2 hours. l.anthanurn nitrate liquid was used for the brain fixation through the heart. Under electonic microscope the changes of EBB permeability were observed. RESULTS:one--time and 7--time groups shared the same changes of BBB permeability, in which close junction opened and Lanthanum nitrate particles passed BBB into the brain tissue through BBB. Compared with those of 1 and 7 time groups, 14--time group had more radical changes in which more Lanthanum nitrate particles existed in the brain tissue (P< 0. 05 ). CONCLUSION: Infrasound can directly damage the function and structure of BBB and with infrasound of the same strength,the extent of brain damage is closely related to the times of infrasounic injury. It is suggested that infrasound increases BBB permeability and brain edema and plays a pivotal role in brain damage.

目的:探讨次声作用后血脑屏障(BBB)通透性改变及意义,为研究次声的生物学效应机理奠定基础.方法:40只SD大鼠随机分为正常对照、次声作用1次、7次及14次4组.采用本校研制的次声压力仓.次声作用组用8Hz,120dB的次声按规定次数,每次作用2h.硝酸镧心脏灌注法固定鼠脑,透射电镜下观察BBll改变.结果:次声作用1次与7次组其BBB改变相似,均有紧密连接开放,血管基膜外以至组织间隙内存在硝酸镧颗粒;至14次组BBB改变愈加严重,可见大量硝酸澜颗粒经BBB进人组织间隙,与卫,7次两组比较有显著差异(PM<0.05).结论:次声作用可直接破坏BBB的结构与功能;在相同强度的次声作用下,作用次数的多少与I3BB通透性改变呈直接相关.推测由于次声造成BBB通透性改变,进而引起血管源性脑水肿,是次声导致脑损害的关键因素之一.
