The equipment used is a 60 cm reflector with an interference filter centered at 7200 with halfwidth 140. Photographs 1 and 2 show the photcelectrical records of the two occultations caused by the main ring of Uranus. After correcting for ΔT = 1.2, the midtime of the first occultation is 20~h18~m42UT, duration 9.5, the computed optical thickness is τ_λ=1. The second occultation began at 21~h47~m36,...

In order to reduce them to the same scale, all thee values of intensity in photo 2 must be multiplied by a factor of 1.6. Thus we obtain the value of optical thickness amounting to only τ_λ= 0.4. It deserves a further discussion. Using our own observational data and synthesizing the data from abroad, we obtain Tab 1. It shows that the width of main ring is not homegeneous. The computational results also show that the main ring is an elliptic one. with a small inclination to the equatorial plane of Uranus, the semi-major axis a and the eccentricity e are obtained. The radius of Uranus is assumed to be 26450 km in eomputations.

Before the Tangshan earthquake, magnitude 7.8 on July 28, 1976, nine of the fourteen resistivity stations located within the region of Peking, Tientsin and Tangshan recorded gradual decreases in apparent electrical resistivity for a period of 2-3 years. The anomalous region as deduced from the records of these nine stations has a semi-major axis of about 150 km surrounding the epicenter and yet two of the stations located very close to the epicenter recorded rapidly decreasing apparent resistivity anomaly...

According to results of some field measurements in-situ of the apparent resistivity decrease due to compression of rock or soil layers near earth's surface, we estimated that the linear compressional strain of shallow layers in and around the epicentral area is about 3 × 10-5. Compressional strain of much the same order of magnitude has been observed by base line survey before the Tangshan earthquake.

In this paper we consider the possible change of the configurations and positions of orbits. In three-body problem, the instantaneous motion of one body could be thought of a conic section around the other one. Then we give the method to determine the ranges of change of the semi-major axis, instantaneous eccentricity and longitude of ascending node of orbits.

本文继续文[1]、[2]、[3],从一般三体问题运动方程的古典积分出发,在由它们所限定的允许运动范围内考察任一天体轨道形状和位置所可能发生的变化。具体地说,就是把这一天体在任何时刻的运动看作是绕另一天体作瞬时园锥曲线运动(见[4]、[6]),而给出一套相应的方法去确定其瞬时轨道半长径、瞬时偏心率以及瞬时轨道升交点经度的可能变化范围。
