Length of perpendicular bisector and distance of foot point is calculated according as set point of the conic node of the cutter and grinding wheel center. If inclination of between 2 axes-lines is equal to middle perpendicular offset, 2 set points are equal to distance of foot point, it is predigest into 4-corrdinate. The method was validated in the simple NC grinding machine.

旋转锉属复杂回转面刀具,需6坐标刃磨机加工,若增加调节参数代替联动坐标轴,仅砂轮x、y、z移动和工件转动4坐标联动则可完成。其成形原理是将工件母线呈水平,工件轴线翘起。过刀具锥顶建立空间坐标系,求出刀具和砂轮轴线矢量及其夹角。并以刀具锥顶和砂轮中心为给定点,算出中垂线长度和到垂足的距离。若2轴线夹角和中垂距相等,2给定点到垂足距离相等,则将其简化为4坐标。该方法已在汉中机床厂简易数控刃磨机上验证。
