The influences of the polymerization degree on the composition of initial agents, monomer concentration, the temperature of polymerization. Also the degree of side chain, 1.2 glycol content, iodine adsorption, IR spetra and some physical properties were determined. It is found the lower polymerization temperature is to the benefit of increasing the regularization and improveing the physical properties....

The effect of diethylene glycol content on the properties of unsaturated p - olyester resin and on the mechanical properties(tensile, flexural, impact, comp- ress and hardness) of their casting and fiberglass-resinforced plastics were well investigated. The role of isomcrization catalysts (KBr) played on the activity of resins were also studied. Hence, the optimal content of diethylene glycol and KBr in the unsaturated polyester resin were found.
