The fungi isolated from antarctic soil were studied firstly by Ekelof. Since then, many fungi in Antarctica have been reported, e. g., yeasts, moulds and mushrooms. After his expedition, Professor Wei Jiang-chun brought us 26 samples collected from the Antarctic King George Island in 1984. Sixty strains have been isolated from 20 samples. No fungi appeared in the others. Identified fungal species are as follows: Penicillium citreonigrum Dierckx, Penicillium aurantiogriseum Dierckx, Aspergillus penicilloides...

After his expedition, Professor Wei Jiang-chun brought us 26 samples collected from the Antarctic King George Island in 1984. Sixty strains have been isolated from 20 samples. Identified fungal species are as follows: Penicillium citreonigrum Dierckx, Penicillium aurantiogriseum Dierckx, Aspergillus penicilloides Spegazzini, Aspergillus gracilis Bainier, Eurotium repens De Bary, Cladosporium sphaerospermum Penz., Scopulariopsis brumptii Salvanet-Duval, Phialophora melinii (Nannf.) Conant, Mucormucedo (L.) Fres., and Chrysosporium pannorum (Link) Hughes. Among them, Chrysosporium pannorum (Link) Hughes attained 41.6% of the strains isolated. All the ten species grow well at 25℃ and 14—15℃. But only Penicillium aurantiogriseum Dierckx, Mucor mucedo (L.) Fres. and Chrysosporium pannorum (Link) Hughes grow well at 1—2℃ and 4℃. As a psychrophile, Chrysosporium pannorum (Link) Hughes has been reported repeatedly in Antarctica. It is undoubtedly dominant.

本文报道从南极乔治王岛26个样品中分离到60株丝状真菌,其中6个样品未分离到任何真菌,经初步鉴定有8属10个种。根据本次温度实验和该地寒冷的气候,只有桔灰青霉(Penicillium aurantiogriseum Dierckx),大毛霉Mucor mucedo(L.)Fres.)和毡状金孢霉(chrysosporium pannorum(Link)Hughes)在本地能生长繁殖。其中毡状金孢霉占明显优势。

从南极乔治王岛土壤分离到一株丝状真菌C3368,经分类鉴定为疣状金孢霉chrysosporium verrucosum Tubaki.C3368。经低温发酵、提纯分离得到两个活性成分:C3368-A为R-(一)-Bisdechlorogeodin;C3368-B为Questin。这两个活性成分具有很强的抑制肿瘤细胞核苷转运的作用和小鼠脾淋巴细胞摄取核苷的作用。从南极土壤真菌的代谢产物中找到具有上述作用的抗生素,还是首例。

First of all, early attempts on classification of Antarctic soils are briefly summarized in the paper. Then, progresses in classifying the soils in the maritime Antarctic respectively within the frames of the Soil Taxonomy and the World Reference Base for Soil Resources are outlined. Meanwhile, a preliminary attempt is made to classify the soils in the same region in line with the Chinese Soil Taxonomy. It is indicated that all of the main soil types in the studied...

First of all, early attempts on classification of Antarctic soils are briefly summarized in the paper. Then, progresses in classifying the soils in the maritime Antarctic respectively within the frames of the Soil Taxonomy and the World Reference Base for Soil Resources are outlined. Meanwhile, a preliminary attempt is made to classify the soils in the same region in line with the Chinese Soil Taxonomy. It is indicated that all of the main soil types in the studied area within the maritime Antarctic can be grouped into Gelisols of the Soil Taxonomy. Comparatively, application of the WRB System and the Chinese Soil Taxonomy in classifying the soils in the maritime Antarctic seems to be much more difficult.

本文简要论述了早期南极土壤分类研究工作。对在南极海洋性气候区应用《美国土壤系统分类》和《国际土壤分类参比基础》进行土壤分类工作的最新实践进行了阐述和比较;同时,依照《中国土壤系统分类》对本区进行了初步的分类尝试。研究结果显示,南极海洋性气候区的主要土壤分别属于《美国土壤系统分类》冻土纲下的各级单元。比较而言,其他两个分类系统在本区的应用相对困难。
