Environmentally assisted cracking (EAC) of X-70 pipeline steels in near-neutral pH environments, including the standard solution, NS4, and an actual soil solution, was investigated using constant loading tests, slow strain rate tests (SSRT) and cyclic loading tests.

4 The water-holding capacity calculated according to actual soil thickness saturated in different stands was varied from 2871 to 3035t. hm~(-2),among them, the saturated water-holding of Fraxinus mandshurica and Pinus koraiensis mixed forests was maximize, but Fraxinus mandshurica pure forest was minimum.

The analysis results show that suitable measurement method must be based on the actual soil and grounding system structures when choosing the placement of potential electrodes. The error between the measured results and real grounding resistance can be predicted with the method.

The parameters of the revised model are determined by using the information provided by remote sensing satellite, and have clear physical meaning and reflect actual soil storage case in the watershed. It bases yield calculation on reliability. The model proposed is advantageous to going further into the role of the watershed in runoff formation due to rainfall, and provides reliable basis for flood forecasting.
