The speed dependence of solar wind mass flux outputs, F, near the Sun (on the source surface, 2.5 solar radii) and in the heliosphere(at 1AU) was analyzed by combining observations of the interplanetary scintillation(IPS)and K─coronameter data during Carrington rotations(1643-1652) in 1976 and was compared with the photosphere magnetic field for the same period. The basic results are that: (1) the speed dependence of F is differen for various speed ranges and magnetic structures: the dependence first rises for<470 km/s; the dependence then decreases for 470-590 km/s; finally, the dependence is constant for>590 km/s; (2) these speed ranges basically correspond to different magnetic structured on the photosphere: strong magnetic field region, current sheet region, and polar corona region; (3) in particular, the polar corona region's mass flux is the lowest in the three different magnetic structure regions and is nearly constant in the range of 400-700 km/s.(4) the results mentioned above are similar both on source surface and in heliosphere and are also similar with the results in the descending phase of sloar activity.
