From 1984-1986, Northeast Normal University and Bethune Medical University of China have cooperated with Yakohama National University and Matsuyama Shinonome Junior College of Japan in investigating soil acarid in Jingyuetan of Changechan, China. Acarid of 134 species, individual number of which amounts to 4396, have been collected. They belong to 2 orders, 4 suborders and 74 families. Among which, Tareonemus sp. and Ceratozetes mediocris are domi-nont species and 25 species are common ones. The structure of species number and individual number of acarid in various sites have the following characters: Secondey forest >Larix forest >Pinus sylvestris forest >Pinus tabulaeformis forest > grassland > farmland. As regards seasonal fluctuation of species number and individual number of acarid, a significant feature is summer>spring>autumn>winter. Moreover, individual number of vinous vertical layers of soil varies with the changes of season. Usually, the individual numbers acarids in A and A0 layers are more in spring and summer, theose of A and B layers are more in autumn and winter.

The affecters controlling soil seedbank characters areanalysed to provide the background of seedbank under canopy of Larix principis-rupprechtii forest for forther research. It present some valuable results for populus,community and landscape ecological researches in the area. After a common seeding-year,beforegermination in the next spring,the mean Total Soil Seed Density (TSSD) under canopyof four Larix forest types is up to 426 grain/m2 Among the four forest types,the orderof TSSD is Carex-Larix forest>Herba-Larix forest>Betula-Larix forest>Frutex-Larix forest. The mean Vital Soil Seed Density (VSSD),is 124 grain/m2 that is 29. 1 % ofTSSD,the order of VSSD among four forest types is changed to that Carex-Larix forest>Herba-Larix forest>Betula-Larix forest>Frutex-Larix forest. The germination rateof TSSD is 24. 9%. The seed density that could germinate in the next year is 106grain/m2. The seed distribution patterns in study area,controled by seeding wood distribution pattern and micro-topographical heterogeneity,present some degrees of clusteringtrends. The seedbank of Larix principis-rupprechtii under canopy is big enough in fourforest types to provide seed for regeneration in forest gaps after canopy disturbance instudy area.

采用样地内小样方取样,物理方法分离,室内测量、试验、分析的方法,对庞泉沟国家级自然保护区内,华北落叶松4个林型的林下土壤种子数量、质量及分布进行了研究。分析了影响林下土壤种子数量的因素,提供了华北落叶松土壤种子库的基本背景。结果表明,种子平年后的次年春季,林下土壤完整种子密度平均可达426粒/m2。4个林型中苔草落叶松林>草类落叶松林>桦本落叶松林>灌木落叶松林;其中有生活力种子占29.1%,平均为124粒/m2,各林型间顺序为:苔草落叶松林>桦木落叶松林>草类落叶松林>灌木落叶松林。完整种子实验室发芽率24.9%,可发芽种子平均可达106粒/m2,土壤种子水平分布格局受母树分布格局和微地形异质性的影响,都表现不同程度的聚集性。华北落叶松天然林林下土壤种子数量较大,在出现林冠干扰时有足够的种子为迅速占领林隙提供基本保证。
