To solve the problem on design information management of traditional CAD system,the paper presents an attached engineering database system based on design process:the engineering database is attached on the CAD system through application program and data interface,the data is exchanged dynamically and loaded online in design process, and is shared,reused and managed in integration and structure. The efficiency and quality of CAD are enhanced with the application of the attached engineering database.

The operation characteristics of cement ball mill system were analyzed, and research on control of optimal cement ball mill load was conducted in the method of ball mill load measurement through its noise, ball mill load online optimization, FuzzySample PI control algorithm and development of humanmachine interface. To minimize costs, expansibility of available DCS was fully utilized in the hardware and software implementation of cement ball mill load control system. A complete load control system of cement ball mill was developed and field operation demonstrated its satisfactory performance in increasing cement production, reducing energy cost and ensuring cement quality.
