An important quality factor of the frequency sources is the far end phase noise power spectral density S_φ(f). i.e. the phase noise power spectral density at Fourier frequencis higher than 6KHz. Due to the fact the values of S_φ(f) are very low in this frequency range, it is necessary to measure them by a test set with very low testing threshold. The threshold of the test set designed by the ordinary phase detecting principle may be as low as necessary, but there are some significant shortcomings in it. These...

An important quality factor of the frequency sources is the far end phase noise power spectral density S_φ(f). i.e. the phase noise power spectral density at Fourier frequencis higher than 6KHz. Due to the fact the values of S_φ(f) are very low in this frequency range, it is necessary to measure them by a test set with very low testing threshold. The threshold of the test set designed by the ordinary phase detecting principle may be as low as necessary, but there are some significant shortcomings in it. These are:(1) a high frequency, broadband and variable phase shifter is always required in this kind of apparatus; (2) a syncronization in frequency of the tested signal and the local frequency standard is required so the apparatus is quite complicate, bothersome in adjustment when in use, and its scope of usuage is quite therefore limited. In this paper, a new method of measurement is suggested, in which the shortcomings stated above may be overcome to a great extent while the testing threshold and accuracy (confidence interval) are almost the same as in the ordinary phase detecting method. Its fundamental principles, confidence interval and testing threshold as well as the main points in design are analyzed and discussed. A test set designed by using this new principle has been made, with which the phase noise factor has been measured for a number of frequency sources. The results obtained in these measurements are in good agreement with the data outlined in the instructions of the frequency sources under test.

This paper presents a fats measurement method of the heartbeat rate F(in minute). First the heartbeat cycle T is measured out then the T is transfered into the heartbeat rate F by the digital technique. The resulting accuracy of the measurement is about ±2%. A designed block diagram and two recorded dynamic heartbeat rate diagram are given.

本文提出一种快速连续测心率的方法。首先测出心跳周期T,然后用数字技术将周期T转换成心率F。测量精度为土2%。文中给出了设计方框图和实测动态心率变化记录图。

In general some time-drift factors may exist in the measuring procedure, thus an appreciable error will result. In this paper a data processing method suitable for this kind of measurements is introduced. Some examples are also given to show the possibility to extend the application of this method.
