The development of techniques for measuring attenuation of a piece of rectangular waveguide is discussed. Measurement is carried out on the basis of the reflection of resonator formed by waveguide.Measurements are performed on waveguide of different lengths, (0.76m, 0.60m, 0.22 m and 0.09 m) different materials, and different manufacturing methods. Experimental data show that when attenuation of waveguide is on the order of 0.1 db, the random error is about 1.5%, and the total error is more than 10%. With such method it is easy to distinguish waveguide of different materials.Method of selecting parameter of waveguide element for given accuracy is considered. Accuracy is verified by a standard vane type attenuator.

Shadow-moire technique is a kind of three-dimensional strain measurement, it is a useful experimental method in measuring the displacement in W-field. Clear advantages of this method are the simplicity of instruments, ease of operation and giving messages of the whole field.This paper presents an outline of the basic principle of Shadow-moire technique, the optical system of light source and camera for practical applications are analyzed and the quotable conclusions are provided. In addition, the application of the shadow-moire technique in displacement measurement is explained by a bending test of simply supported plate loaded with a concentrated force. It is used to determine the displacement of the parabolic shell surface. In this paper a simple and convenient method-the double-exposure method is recommended to study the displacement field for three-dimensional curved face. Meanwhile, the improvement on the sensitivity is briefly discussed.

A new type of piezoelectric accelerometer used for low frequency micro-vibration measurements is described. Its temprature transient sensitivity is very low, thus the environmental temperature transient variation causes very small effect only, therefore the lower limit of low frequency micro-vibration measurement can be reached down to a more small value.

本文叙述了一种新型的低频微振测量用的压电加速度计,它只有极低的瞬变温度灵敏度,环境温度的瞬态变化只引起很小的响应,从而使低频微振的测量能够达到很低的下限。
