No.6 cement kiln is used for production of aluminum oxide grog. During operation of its electric precipitator the kiln ash forms an arch very often, which results in full and overflow of the hopper. As a result the power cannot be delivered and ash not be removed normally. The dust emission has seriously exceeded the standard. A lot of alkaline powder is lost and production cost is increased finally. After actual operation for 5 months the dust emission of the precipitator of No.5 cement kiln has meet the national standard and the secondary current of the pole line is increased by about one time. The emission density of No.6 kiln has reached below 80 mg/m3 and the precipitator has run for more than 9 months without any failure caused by ash spreading out due to ash arch accumulation.
