Early Permian Brachiopod fauna represented by Spiriferella saranae-Yakovlevia mammata in Ekenalsileng region, containing 18 genera and 27 species, is briefly stated in this paper. They all are common elements, belonging to cold water form in Arctic Realm and Northern Geosynclinal Area in China. According to the assemblage characters, the stratigraphic time range corresponds to Early Artinskian stage. The sediments are mainly composed of coarse clastic rock, intercalated with a little carbonatites bearing abundant brachiopods but lacking fusulinids, which are really easterly extended part of Shuangbutang Formation on Lower Permian in Beishan district. The locality of the fossiliferous horizon just lies on the extreme south margin of west section in Northern Geosynclinal Area, China. Therefore, it is very significant in the study of the stratigraphic division, biotic province and palaeogeoraphic reconstruction etc.

本文简述了额肯阿尔斯楞地区以Spiriferella saranae—Yakovlevia mammata为代表的早二叠世腕足动物群,包括18属27种,均为北极区和我国北方槽区冷水型常见分子。按其组合特征,地层时代相当阿丁斯克阶早期。这套以粗碎屑岩为主,夹少量碳酸盐岩的沉积,富含腕足类而缺失类,实际是北山地区下二叠统双堡塘组的东延部分。该化石点正处在我国北方槽区西段的最南缘,故在研究地层区划、生物区系以及古地理再造等方面均具重要意义。

Two cores of samples from Bangong Co and Sumxi Co and lacustrine sedimentary samples from one exposure near the Hongshan lake were collected. In order to obtain information about the environmental changes in the West Kunlun and Karakorum Mountains region since the late Pleistocene. detail analyses of ostracods have been carried out. On the basis of the distribution of ostracod fossils and their palaeoecological characters.it can be considered that a cold climate occurred beween 17 000 and 12 000 a BP,...

Two cores of samples from Bangong Co and Sumxi Co and lacustrine sedimentary samples from one exposure near the Hongshan lake were collected. In order to obtain information about the environmental changes in the West Kunlun and Karakorum Mountains region since the late Pleistocene. detail analyses of ostracods have been carried out. On the basis of the distribution of ostracod fossils and their palaeoecological characters.it can be considered that a cold climate occurred beween 17 000 and 12 000 a BP, especially in the period 17 000-15 000 aBP. The runoff into the lake might slightly increase which infers a little warm up after 15 000 aBP. Assemblage character of ostracods and sedimentary features shows that the lakes in this area were slightly extended during the time of 12 500-12 000 aBP. No ostracod has been found in the strata in 11 500-10 000 aBP. This may correspond to the cooling event of Younger Dryas. When the Younger Dryas ended. the temperature rose rapidly, fine hydrological conditions for the development of ostracods appeared during the period about 10 000 aBP and 7 500-6 000 aBP which coincided with the rise of lake level and a warm-humid climate. Clinatic deterioration occurred since 6 000-5 500 aBP The water in the Bangong Co became slightly saline after 5 500 aBP.

通过班公错和松西错两钻孔以及红山湖地层剖面的介形类分析,讨论了昆仑山、喀喇昆仑山地区晚更新世晚期以来的主要气候事件和环境变迁。
