The study investigated the ability, quality and knowledge structure for physical teachers in normal universities by questionnaire. The subjects included 60 physical theorists and 300 physical teachers from 105 normal universities. 80 percent of the subjects think that a qualified teacher in 21 century must be in honor of his occupation, be sound in body and mind, have practical teaching ability and a good grasp of basic theory, have the ability of research and coordination, and have high culture...

为了适应深化教育改革 ,培养高质量人才 ,探讨普通高校体育教师应具备哪些条件、能力、素质和知识结构 ,对 6 0名体育理论、体育教育专家和全国 15个省市 2 2个城市 10 5所普通高校 30 0名体育教师进行问卷调查。结果显示 80 %以上的体育教师认为 2 1世纪合格体育教师应是敬岗敬业 ,具有实际教学能力和有扎实的基础理论知识 ,能够进行科学研究 ,有良好的身心素质且有善于团结协作的能力 ,有较高的文化素质和学历层次水平。可见 2 1世纪的体育教师更注重的是实际工作能力和科研能力。

Practical teaching ability is one of the imporfant qualifications required by the construction of engeer-ing college teaching faculty. Aiming at the common problem that college teachers lack in the practical ability and fail to invest suffcient time and energy in teaching, the author puts forwards six measures to improve their practical ability.

实践教学能力是工科院校教师队伍素质建设的一项重要内容。针对当前高等工程教育普遍存在着教师工程实践能力差,投入不足的问题,提出了如何提高教师实践教学能力的6条对策和措施。
