Microwave irradiation and enzymatic catalysis are two powerful tools in modern organic syntheses. Microwave irradiation and enzymatic catalysis are two powerful tools in modern organic syntheses. A new trend in catalyzing organic syntheses is to utilize these two means simultaneously, which can be called microwave irradiation enzyme coupling catalysis (MIECC). MIECC technique can be divided into two categories such as enzymatic synthesis under microwave irradiation in non/micro aqueous media (wet method) and without media (dry method). The recent progress in this research field is reviewed and the typical MIECC reactions are highlighted. The mechanism of MIECC, especially the microwave induced "athermal action" in bio catalysis systems is briefly discussed theoretically. The potential application of MIECC is prospected.

微波辐射和酶催化是现代有机合成化学中两种强有力的催化手段 .目前一种新的研究动向是将两者结合起来用于催化有机合成反应 ,这种新型催化方法可以被称作微波辐射 -酶耦合催化 (MIECC) .由MIECC方法催化的有机合成反应可以被分为湿法和干法两大类型 .介绍了这一新型耦合催化方法的研究进展以及一些典型MIECC反应 .对MIECC反应中可能存在的耦合催化机理 ,即微波在生物催化体系中的“非热效应”进行了初步理论探讨 ,同时展望了这种新的耦合催化方法的前景

The review focused mainly on the recent progress in organic synthesis under microwave irradiation on the solid supposrts in the absence of solvents.

棕榈酸异辛酯是一种重要的化工原料,广泛应用于润滑剂合成工业、纺织工业、石油工业等,具有很大的市场潜力。综述介绍了近年来合成棕榈酸异辛酯的几种典型方法,如常规加热催化酯化法、微波辅助合成法和酶催化合成法等。其中常规加热催化酯化法虽然克服了传统工艺的一些缺点,但能源消耗大,不利于工业生产。酶催化合成法解决了能耗问题,但存在反应时间长、酶易失活等不足。微波辅助合成法具有反应时间短、操作方便、收率高等特点,但其工业化仍有待进一步开发。
