The paper discribed a new software method to realize IEEE- 488 interface function by designing a program and a simple I/O circuit. The hardware and software provided are suitable to IBM PC/XT, ATand compatibe computers, They are also suitalbe to Assemble, C, Fortran etc. software environment. This interface has been used in several test systems. Detailed I/O circuit, some examples about interface program and examples for using are also presented in this paper
