Preparation and effect of magnetic nano-microspheres containing As_2O_3 in treatment of human cervical cancer in combination with magnetic fluid hyperthermia in vitro
(2)To determine the effect of inhibition of cell growth of hyperthermia in combination with cisplatin on drug-resistant human ovarian cancer cell line CAOV3/cDDP, and the relationship between temperature and medical effect.
Methods: CAOV3/cDDP cell line were treated by Xiaoji Decoction (0.5mg/ml, 5mg/ml, 50mg/ml),hyperthermia (42℃) or cisplatin (6ug/ml, 12ug/ml, 24ug/ml) alone , or by the combination of them .
Purpose] To probe the relationship between survival rate and the factors such as postoperative chemotherapy, thermotherapy and clinical stage in ovarian epithelial carcinoma.
With the advance of thermobiology in recent years, thermotherapy has become the fifth effective method of ovarian cancer after operation, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy.
Ovarian cancer is sensitive to thermotherapy and its spreading localized in abdominal cavity even in advanced stage, therefore, it is good for ovarian cancer to apply intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy (IPHC).
(1)The cell was divided into 4 groups. Each of them were exposed in turn to different thermoldegree 37℃, 40℃, 43℃ and 45℃ respectively for 30 minutes (min), and were separated into 5 subgroups, which then were treated by different medicine concentration, 0ug/ml, 0.lug/ml, lug/ml, 10ug/ml,100ug/ml, respectively. Ultimately, MTT was used to detect the cytotoxic index of each subgroup.
Methords①With the sulfate as the materials and NaOH as precipitator, Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles were prepared, which are characterizated by X-ray diffraction(XRD)、transmission electron microscope(TEM) and heat analysis system .
Quercetin completely inhibited the synthesis and intracellular accumulation of 70-kD heat shock protein (HSP70) in response to hyperthermia or to treatment with sodium arsenite, whereas dihydroquercetin in the same or higher doses had no such effect.
This review compares high- and lowenergy transurethral microwave thermotherapy (TUMT) and transurethral needle ablation (TUNA) of the prostate with TURP in clinical efficacy and safety.
This review article discusses microwave thermotherapy as such an option and reports the long-term experience with the CoreTherm (CoreTherm Operations AB, Sweden) device.
The effect of thermochemotherapy(i.e.a water bath applied to the region of the tumor at 44℃ for 30 minutes and CDDP administeredi.p.at a dose of 3mg/kg) wasevaluated in nude mice loaded with human ovarian cancer xenograft.16 mude mices were divided into 4 groups i.e.hyperthermia,chemotherapy,thermochemotherapy and controlgroup. The results showed that the minimal value of TRW/CRW was 3.2% in hyperthermia group,4.5% in chemotherapy group. There was no significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).The minim...
To evaluate the effect of a concomitant treatment with hyperthermia, cisplatin and low dose rate irradiation(LDRI) in human ovarian cancer cells, two human ovarian cancer cell lines, one parental(A2780 S) and one cisplatin and radiation resistant derivative(A2780 CP) cell line were tested for their response to LDRI(0.88 cGy/min),hyperthermia(40 ℃,up to 24 h) and protracted cisplatin exposure(0.5~3.0 μg/ml,up to 24 h).The response to the individual treatments s...
