Following the famous “Mini” element of ArnoldBrezziFortin,several LBBstable quadrilateral mixed finite elements for the Stokes problem had been proposed.A study of these proposed two dimensional elements and the corressponding LBBstability checking criteria leads us to a class of LBBstable simple continuous pressure hexahedral elements.The fundamental idea is to introduce “bubble” degrees of freedom into the velocity finite element space in order to obtain a LBBstable velocity/pressure combination....
