With an aim to search for insecticides of good environmental quali-ty,experiments have been carried out on the application of the oil andextracts of the seeds of three species of Meliaceae for the oontrol ofcitrus insects in South China.Results of laboratory and field tests showedthat a spray of 1.4% emulsified neem (Azadirachta indica) seed oilshowed potential as a strong antifeedant for the control of the Asiaticcitrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri) which transmits the yellow-shoot di-sease.There is also some evidence to show that the oil exhibited contactaction and insect growth disruption effects on the nymphs of the psyl-lid.The neem seed oil and the petroleum ether extracts of the seed ker-nals of two species of chinaberry (Melia azedarach and M.toosendan)were effective against the citrus red-mite (Panonychus citri).A sprayof 1.4% neem seed oil also gave good control of the larvae of the cit-rus leaf miner (Phyllocnistis citrella). The unique properties of the seeds of some species of Meliaceae asa repellent and antifeedant,safe to the environment and to the naturalenemies of insect pest and compatability with the agroecosystem em-phasize its potential in the integrated control of citrus insect pests.

本文应用楝科植物(印楝、川楝、苦楝)种籽油及其抽提物对柑桔木虱及其他害虫进行一系列的忌避拒食及触杀作用试验,证明印楝油有明显的忌避及拒食作用。印楝油对柑桔潜叶蛾有良好的防效。印楝、川楝及苦楝油对柑桔红蜘蛛也有较强的触杀作用。应用楝科植物杀虫剂可兼治几种害虫,对人畜安全,不污染环境,不会引起抗药性的产生,而且对害虫天敌也比较安全。

Activities of y-glutamyl transpeptidase (y-GTP) in the midgut, Malpighian tubules, posterior silkgland, fat body and integument of the eri-silkworm Plmlosamia cynthict ricini were determined by using y-glutemyl-r-natroanilidae as the substrate. The specific activities in Malpighian tubules and midgut were higher than in other tissues. The r-GTP activities in these two tissues reached the maxima on the second day to the fourth day of the fifth instar, since then they began to decline rapidly. The r-GTP activity...

Activities of y-glutamyl transpeptidase (y-GTP) in the midgut, Malpighian tubules, posterior silkgland, fat body and integument of the eri-silkworm Plmlosamia cynthict ricini were determined by using y-glutemyl-r-natroanilidae as the substrate. The specific activities in Malpighian tubules and midgut were higher than in other tissues. The r-GTP activities in these two tissues reached the maxima on the second day to the fourth day of the fifth instar, since then they began to decline rapidly. The r-GTP activity in the fat body and integument rose to maxima just after pupation and then decreased and became virtually undeteetable at the close of pupal stage. But the r-GTP activity in the fat body would rise again after adult; emergence.The biochemical study on. the cri-silkworm r-GTP revealed that, the essential amino acids required for insect growth could serve very well as the receptors of this enzyme. The optimal pH for the y-GTP activity ranged from 8.0 to 9.0 in different tissues. The enzymie activity was sensitive to the inhibition of L- and D-r-glutamyl-(O-carboxy)-phenyl-hydi-azide and scrine-borax.Our study confirms that y-GTP is intimately related to amino acid absorption, transportation and transformation and finally to protein synthesis aaid development of the eri-silkworm.

L-γ-谷氨酰转肽酶(γ-GTP)广泛分布在蓖麻蚕Philosamia cynthia ricini的中肠、马氏管、后丝腺、脂肪体、体壁等组织中;并存在于蚕个体发育中的各个阶段。酶活力以马氏管、中肠为最大。在五龄蚕前中期各组织均显示γ-GTP最大活力。在脂肪体和表皮组织中,蛹形成时又分别出现γ-GTP活力峰。昆虫生长发育必需的10种氨基酸均是蚕各组织γ-GTP酶促反应的受体。这些结果表明,γ-GTP作为L-γ-谷氨酰循环中一个关键酶,在蓖麻蚕体内对氨基酸的吸收和转运起着重要作用。

The unique properties of the toxic principles of toosendanin as an antifeedant, systemic and stomach poison as well as insect growth regulators, local availability, safe to the environment and com, patibility with the agroecosystem emphasize its ample potential in insect pest management system.

本文对川楝素的来源、发现、提制、生产、应用及药理、毒理、毒性等方面的研究历史、现状及展望作了简单叙述。旨在讨论进一步研究这一天然化合物的重要意义。特别是通过对川楝素在医学上的药理、毒性等方面研究成果的回顾、总结,而为深入研究其在害虫防治方面的作用机制及应用措施提供依据、寻找线索、开创思路。
