The fracture effects may be characterized by two parameters as the depth of penetration h and the fracture angle of rock φ The value of h depends on the load-up condition and the hardness of rock. On certain load-up condition, the crushing strength of rock may be shown in term of A,however, it is considered as unsufficient. The value of h would be propably high in plastic rock , while amount of fracture are not quite as much. As to the angle φ, a more simple quantity, is unrelated to both the load-up condition and the shape of bit but looks like related to rock characters and condition of free surface of rocks. It may also be a characterizing index of crushing strength of rock.As a review of studies on rock fracture by rolling disc-cutter, this paper deals with the theoretical analysis about fracture process. Taking the angle φ into account as a fundamental parameter and in view of the counter-balance of forces and the law of energy conservation,the models of parabolic area and volume fractured has been set up on the basis of experiments. Also, a functional relation between loads and other parameters has been formulated as follows:whereP-vertical force (kg);Kd-coefficient of conversion;[σe]-uniaxial compressive strength of rock (kg/cm2);φ-rock fracture angle (deg);γ-radius of wear ci cle (mm);θ-a half of the angle between cutting edges (deg);R-cutter radias (cm);h-depth of cutter penetration (cm);αd-specific energy of rolling fracture (kg·m/cm3).Those formulae above indicate that the vertical force is a function of both the rock fracture parameters (as [σc] etc) and the geometrical parameters of disc-cutter as R, θ and r.

In this paper, we attempt to construct an unstable constitutive model for the fault medium by starting from the general constitutive equation of an elastic- plastic rock medium and considering the coefficient of internal friction and cohesion of the fault medium to vary with deformation. The constitutive relation thus obtained may be applied to fault of any occurrence and subjected to arbitrary stress conditions. To apply them in the boundary value problem of continuum mechanics dealing with complicated structure and non-uniform stress field, an instability criterion is also given. It is used to judge the onset of instability of the entire system comprising both the fault zone and the surrounding medium. Two simple examples are given to illustrate the usage of the model in finite element analysis.

It is pointed out that when a plastic rock like rock salt is buried to a certain depth, the gravity loading pressure of the overburden may, under the action of differentiation, result in a plastic flowing pressure of 0.24 kg/cm~2 commensurate to that for an average of each meter of burial of the overburden. The author believes that the resulting lateral compression stress in excess of the compression load of casing is the primary csuse of the frequent premature casing failure in Jianghan. He therefore proposes to raise the compressibility coefficient of the casing for the rock-salt section to 0.24 Kg/cm~2/meter as a principal preventive measure to be introduced in Jinaghan.

本文针对江汉油田开发中过多,过早的发生套管损坏的问题。根据大量套管损坏井的实际资料,运用聚类分析方法和塑性流动理论,结合江汉盐湖盆地的地质特征,参考有关文献,指出当岩盐等可塑性岩类埋藏达到一定深度时,其上覆地层的重力载荷压力,在差异人作用下,使岩盐产生相当于上覆地层平均每米深度0.24公斤/厘米~2的塑性流动压力。所形成的侧向挤压应力,超过套管抗挤负荷,是造成江汉油田套管过多、过早损坏的主要原因。并提出将岩盐井段的套管抗挤系数提高到0.24公斤/厘米~2/米,作为防止套管损坏的主要措施。这对具有岩盐等可塑性岩类的油田或地区具有一定参考价值。
