Objective: To examined the effect of curcumin on human fetal mesangial cell proliferation in vitro which necessarily excludes the confounding influences of haemodynamic, inflammatory and various other processes that are present in vivo. Methods: The activity of the cell was determined with MTT method after subconfluent quiescent mesangial cell cultured in vitro were incubated with various concentration of curcumin or dexamethasone. Results: Curcumin at the concentration equal or over 6. 25 μmol/L was able to inhibit the proliferation of mesangial cell in a dose-dependent manner. These inhibitory ability of curcumin at the concentration equal or over 50μmol/L was superior to that of dexamethasone. Conclusion: Curcumin could inhibite the human mesangial cell growth in vitro.

目的:观察姜黄素对体外培养的人肾小球系膜细胞(MC)增殖的影响。方法:采用不同浓度姜黄素处理体外培养的人肾小球系膜细胞,应用四甲基偶氮唑蓝(MTT)法测定系膜细胞活性(A值),并与地塞米松进行比较。结果:当姜黄素浓度≥6.25μmol/L时,系膜细胞增殖明显受到抑制,且表现为浓度依赖性;当姜黄素浓度≥50 μmol/L时,姜黄素抑制系膜细胞增殖的作用明显强于地塞米松(P<0.05)。结论:姜黄素能抑制体外培养的人肾小球系膜细胞增殖,且作用强于地塞米松。
