In this paper, the effect of mouse Japanese encephalitis virus specific transfer factor (MJEV-TF) on the adherent inhibitory activity of mouse peritoneal exudate cells (PEC) was studied. Normal mouse transfer factor (MN-TF)and MJEV-TF were injected intra peritoneally into mice and leucocyte adherence inhibition (LAI) test was performed. In this paper, the effect of mouse Japanese encephalitis virus specific transfer factor (MJEV-TF) on the adherent inhibitory activity of mouse peritoneal exudate cells (PEC) was studied. Normal mouse transfer factor (MN-TF)and MJEV-TF were injected intra peritoneally into mice and leucocyte adherence inhibition (LAI) test was performed. Results showed that MN-TF had no apparent effect on PEC adherent inhibitory activity but MJEV-TF did. The LAI activity of MJEV-TF prepared from live JE virus immunization was higher than that from inactivated JE virus in Freund complete adjuvant. Under a certain dosage of MJEV-TF, the LAI activity increased with its dosage, but decreased as the dosage beyond the limit, suggesting the impurity of TF thus prepared. Authors suggested that this method be used to determine the specific activity of TF preparation.

A study was made on the effect of specific transfer factor on the course of Japanese encephalitis (JE) virus infection in mice. The JE specific transfer factor (MJEV-TF) used was prepared from mouse spleen after infection with A_2 strain of JE virus and it's activity had been determined previously. In order to increase the efficacy of TF,one group of mice were first treated with MJEV-TF and another group passively transferred with mouse spleen lymphocyte sensitized previously in vitro with MJEV-TF. Results showed no significant difference in mortality rate, average survival time and titre of virus between tested and control groups, and did not support those favorable therapeutic results in JE cases reported before.

以小鼠为模型,研究了TF在乙脑病毒感染过程中的作用。在病毒攻击前注射MJEV-TF、正常人TF及输入MJEV-TF体外致敏的脾淋巴细胞,都没有降低小鼠的死亡数和延长生存时间,注射MJEV-TF对病毒增殖也无明显抑制作用,说明TF在乙脑病毒感染小鼠过程中无明显保护作用。

In contrast to control group RNA, radioassay of agarose-Polyacrylamine gel electrophoresis of Sp-TF group RNA from H22 cell plasma showed that 7 RNAs lowered but some small RNAs (sRNA) rose. When 2.2μg/ml a-amanitin existed, the suppressive effect of Sp-TF was covered. Although the activity curve of uridine kinase in H22 cells was by no means identical to that of the suppressive effect, the suppressive effect of Sp-TF was completely obstructed when 95μg/ml Puromycin existed. It was suggested that the suppressive effect of Sp-TF on RNA synthesis in H22 cells was associated with some stimulatous proteins which could be inhibited by Puromycin.

通过小鼠H_(22)腹水癌细胞体外实验,观察到特异性转移因子(Sp-TF)及其组份Ⅱa、Ⅱb对肿瘤细胞以[~3H]-UR参入为指标的RNA合成有抑制作用,非特异的转移因子无此作用。利用mRNA、蛋白质合成抑制剂和RNA琼脂糖聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳及其放射性测定、尿苷激酶活性测定进一步探讨了上述抑制效应的作用机制。
