The use of the,extended Golay error-correcting code along with the ARQtechnique will greatly reduce tha error code rate of short-wave data communication while im-proving system reliability.

A error-correcting code is applied to fault-selfchecking of multi -channel digital input model. and the faults type and error representation of multi-channel digital input model is analyzed. The comparsion of several coding method and coding circuit and software of decode-selfchecking is also presented.
