The result indicates that the mixed stand is on reasonable biological basis so that a stable population structure has been established. Compared with pure tea stand, the mixed stand has a number of advantages, for instance, the sufficient use of solar energy, good soil conservation, reduction of light intensity by at least 50%, decrease of temperature by 2℃ under crowns in hot summer, and increase in litter, soil fertility and the production of tea and tallow tree as well. According to the data obtained in the last 3 yeays, the average production of tea is 859.3 kg and of seed of tallow tree 828.6 kg with a total income of 3792.3 Yuan RMB.

根据22年茶桕混交的观察测定,结果表明:茶桕混交具有良好的生物学基础,能形成合理而稳定的群体结构。混交林与纯茶园相比,可充分利用空间,增加光能利用;炎热季节冠下降低光照强度50%以上,降低温度2℃以上,增加相对湿度5~12%,耕作层降低含砂量11%以上,增加含水量1.37%,增加枯枝落叶,提高土壤肥力等,使乌桕和茶叶产量增加,效益提高。据最近3年实测表明:1hm~2茶桕混交林年均产茶叶859.3kg,桕子828.6kg,总产值达3792.3元。经38个乌桕品种和无性系与茶树混交试种,证明在干瘠的低山丘陵地带,以铜锤桕最好,每hm~2年产值达到5239.05元,高于同样条件下的一般乌桕品种与茶混交林产值的69.27%。茶桕混交方式以株间行间混交方式为好。茶树应适当密植。乌桕以每hm~2配置250~300株为宜。

杉木拟赤杨混交林林分结构及其生产力的研究结果表明:杉木拟赤杨混交林是具有较高生产力,值得南方林区推广的一种针阔混交模式。林分蓄积量以3:1带状混交的最大,卿次为1:1行间混交,1:1株间混交最小;7年生3:1带状混交林林分蓄积量59.87m3/hm2、叶面积指数7.04、叶净同化率7.13t/hm2,分别比杉木纯林提高7.24%、9.49%和16.31%;混交林林分具有一定成层性,其林分结构比杉林纯林更有利于生物量的积累,提高出材率.
