y. pestis infected Citellophilus tesquorum altaicus of II instar were fed on citrated blood contained in chambers made of mice skins to observe mass formation. Results showed that the duration of mass formation lasted for 38 days with a blockage rate of 5.4%, which were similar to those under natural conditions.
