The optimal capacity of large-scale canal including the design discharge and the extended discharge of the canal is studied by applying the principle of system engineering. The primary factors which influence the canal capacity have. been analyzed and a multi-step optimal design method for canal capacity has been established. The method has been applied to the design of the canal in middle route of South-to-North water transfers for Yangtze River. The results are satisfactory.

Mix ratio tests of the soil cement to be used as a lining material of the main canal of the Middle Route Project for South to North Water Transfer are conducted in a way of simulation construction of lining.Two kinds of soils with the clay fractions accounting for 10% and 14% respectively and two mix ratios with the cement accounting for 10% are selected to simulate the construction of lining.The construction procedure conforms to the requirements stipulated in 《Technical Specifications of Seepage Control for Canals》,but tractors take the place of sheep foot rollers to serve as preloading machines and road rollers take the place of tired rollers to serve as rolling machines.The compressive strength of the rolled soil cement reaches the design value of 4.9 MPa,and its compactness is 95%.The test results indicate that the mechanical indices of the soil cement can fully meet the design requirements for lining materials of the main canal of the Middle Route Project for South to North Water Transfer.

南水北调中线工程总干渠衬砌材料水泥土配合比进行了衬砌模拟施工的试验。模拟施工选用了粘粒含量为10%和14%的两种土料、水泥掺量为10%的两种配比,按照《渠道防渗技术规范》要求的施工流程进行了模拟施工,但将预压机具羊足碾改成了推土机,碾压机具由轮胎碾改成了压路机,碾压水泥土达到了设计抗压强度4.90MPa、压实度为95%的结果。试验表明,施工碾压水泥土的力学指标完全能达到南水北调中线工程总干渠衬砌材料的设计要求。

The idea of designing and implementing the map library management system of main canal of the middle route project of south to north water transfer and its results,are described.The problem of large scale data management for geographic information system (GIS) is discussed.Especially the management technology of map library for GIS including the primary principle,methods and technology of creation,management and maintenance of the map library,are discussed deeply.

介绍了南水北调中线工程总干渠地形图库信息系统的设计与实现的思路及成果,探讨了GIS(GeographicInformationSystem)大型数据管理的问题,特别对GIS图库管理技术包括图库建立、维护与管理以及图库系统设计过程中的一般原则、方法和技术进行了较深入的探讨.
