Aim\ To draw the relation between angles of cutters and their strength and stiffness. Methods\ The stress and strain of cutter with various angles (such as rake angle, relief angle, main deflection angle, assistant deflection angle and blade obliquity) under certain condition of fields of stress and temperature are analysed by the software ANSYS with lathe cutter as an example. Results\ The relations between angles of cutter and its strength and stiffness are obtained. Conclusion\ The accuracy of temperature stress coupled field analysis of cutter is better than the analysis of single field of stress. It puts up a new method in studying the theory of metal cutting mechanics and some effective attempts are made.

目的 为了得出刀具的几何角度与其强度和刚度之间的关系 .方法 以车刀为例 ,利用有限元软件 ANSYS对车刀的各主要切削角度 (包括前角、后角、主偏角、副偏角、刃倾角等 )在应力场和温度场的共同作用下的应力应变进行了分析 .结果 得出了刀具的各主要几何角度对刀具的强度和刚度的影响 .结论 刀具的温度 -应力耦合场分析 ,分析精度明显优于单纯的结构分析 ,为金属切削的理论研究与实践以及切削力学的研究提出了一种新方法 ,并作了有效尝试

The influence of the longitudinal working fore-angle( γ_0 )on the precision of the tooth has been analyzed,then the improving measures of the foreface of the trapezoid-thread-finish-lathe cutter has been put forward.In this way,the precision of the trapezoid-thread tooth can be assured,the rubbing of the cutter blade are much convenient and the life time of the cutters can be prolonged.

通过分析梯形螺纹精车刀纵向工作前角 (γ0 )对牙形精度的影响 ,提出对梯形螺纹精车刀的前刀面进行改进的措施 ,保证了梯形螺纹牙形的精度 ,使刀具刃磨、研磨更方便 ,提高了刀具的使用寿命。
